Affirmation Live is a private tool used by Reel Edge Media to publish and manage its own YouTube content. It is not offered to the public and has no users other than its operator.
What the application accesses
When the operator signs in with Google, the application is granted access to the operator’s own YouTube channel in order to:
- create, start, update and end live broadcasts on that channel;
- upload videos and set their titles, descriptions and thumbnails;
- read viewing statistics for that channel through the YouTube Analytics API.
It accesses no other Google service, and no data belonging to anyone other than the operator.
What is stored, and where
An OAuth access token and refresh token are stored on the operator’s own computer so the application can continue working without signing in again. Channel statistics retrieved for reporting are held on the same computer. Nothing is stored on a server controlled by Reel Edge Media, and no database of user information exists.
What is not done
- No personal data is collected from visitors or viewers.
- No data is sold, rented, or shared with third parties.
- No data is used for advertising or profiling.
- No analytics or tracking is performed on anyone other than the operator’s own channel performance.
Third-party services
The application communicates with the YouTube Data API and YouTube Analytics API. Use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Removing access
The operator can revoke the application’s access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revoking access invalidates the stored tokens immediately.
Retention
Tokens are kept until access is revoked or they are deleted. Statistics are kept only while they are useful for programming decisions.
